Become an integral part of Amazon's WHS team in Cambridge, Ontario, as an Onsite Medical Representative. This role focuses on first aid support, injury prevention, and associate wellness initiatives. As an Onsite Medical Representative, you will collaborate with WHS specialists and site managers. Your primary responsibilities include assessing injuries, providing first aid, and guiding associates on health-related matters. You will also be involved in managing workers' compensation programs and coordinating return-to-work strategies for injured associates. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first aid support and referrals to medical providers
- Educate and engage associates to minimize injury risks
- Maintain records of care provided to employees
- Coordinate workers' compensation and return-to-work programs
- Engage in proactive coaching on work habits to enhance safety
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid first aid with CPR/AED Level A or C certification
- Valid Provincial Primary Care Paramedic Certification or nursing designation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to lift 49 pounds and stand/walk for long periods
