Project Manager, Finance - Remote

About the Company Our client is a technology company. They are looking for a Manager of Finance, Controllership & Projects to join their team! Exposure to Sr Management and Senior level stakeholders across the company Lead special project for the end-to-end design, documentation and implementation of finance processes required to deliver transitory finance activities with external parties

• Provide guidance on new transactions, projects, processes and accounting standards while maintaining strong governance and controls
• Review, analyze and summarize accounting for contracts, policies and complex transactions
• Drive transformation of financial close activities through process optimization, centralization, automation, and the adoption of emerging technologies, including AI-enabled solutions.
• Identify opportunities to enhance financial processes, systems, data quality, and reporting capabilities, partnering with cross-functional teams to implement solutions.
• Lead and support strategic projects and organizational transformation initiatives.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Commerce, or a related field.

• CPA designation or equivalent finance experience is considered an asset.
• Minimum 6 years of progressive experience in similar accounting role.
• Practical experience in project management, process design, and transitory service delivery is an asset.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Experience with automation, AI, machine learning, or data analytics tools is an asset.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to coordinate cross-functional deliverables
• Support a culture of innovation - a personal interest in upskilling in latest digital and technology trends
• Ability to partner and build relationships to influence and engage with various cross-functional groups and management levels towards a common vision
