Class 1 Owner Operator - Crossborder

Westfreight Systems Inc. is a Canadian owned company leading the ever changing transportation industry since it was incorporated in June of 1989. The company was formed with one tractor/trailer unit and has grown to over 100 units, and 5 terminals throughout the United States and Canada. An emphasis on providing knowledgeable service through strong managerial leadership and offering an expansive field of transportation services including truckload, LTL, and over-dimensional shipments has made such growth possible.
Westfreight Systems is hiring Owner Operator's for U.S. lanes! Candidates must have a TWIC or FAST Card, or be willing and able to obtain one, and have their own 53' flat deck trailer. Don't have a trailer yet? We can help facilitate a rental until you're ready to purchase your own.

What you bring:
- A positive CAN-DO attitude
- Safety conscious approach to all job duties
- Class 1A Driver's License
- Minimum 2-year highway experience with 1 year flat/step deck experience required
- Highway spectruck required
- 53ft flat deck trailer is required
- TWIC card or FAST card isrequired
- A clean driver's abstract with no suspensions
- Ability to cross the border
- Ability to pass a criminal record check & pre-employment drug screening
