Senior Consulting Project Manager
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Consulting Project Manager based in Canada.
This role leads complex transformation initiatives for strategic customers within a consulting and customer success environment.
You’ll oversee multiple medium-to-large projects or programs, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard.
The position combines project leadership, client engagement, risk management, and cross-functional coordination.
You’ll guide internal and external teams, translate business vision into actionable plans, and maintain strong stakeholder alignment.
Your work will span initiatives such as data migration, software development, and software training.
You’ll also contribute to business development by shaping proposals, scopes of work, delivery estimates, and resource plans.

- Lead multiple consulting projects or programs from initiation through completion, ensuring delivery meets agreed timelines, budgets, scope, and customer expectations.
- Manage consulting initiatives including data migration, software development, and software training projects.
- Lead internal and external project team members, establishing clear objectives, responsibilities, milestones, and delivery expectations.
- Translate project scope and strategic vision into clear, actionable goals and execution plans for project teams.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, status reports, and project control tools using appropriate project management and professional services automation systems.
- Facilitate project review meetings and maintain effective communication across account teams, delivery teams, customers, and other stakeholders.
- Analyze project plans, identify potential risks and dependencies, and develop practical mitigation strategies.
- Ensure project reporting follows established standards, processes, and governance requirements.
- Build trusted relationships with customers and stakeholders while maintaining clear, consistent communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support sales and business development activities by contributing to proposals, reviewing or developing scopes of work, estimating delivery requirements, and identifying necessary resources.
- Coach and support team members while fostering a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing project environment.
- At least 6 years of project management experience , ideally gained in professional services, consulting, technology, or a similar client-facing environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.
- PMP, PMI, or equivalent project management certification.
- Demonstrated success leading teams and delivering projects through to production while managing cost, schedule, scope, and quality constraints.
- Experience working effectively across multidisciplinary teams that may include technical experts, sales professionals, subject matter experts, and other project managers.
- Strong ability to develop, review, and manage scopes of work, project documentation, presentations, schedules, and delivery plans.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to build productive customer relationships and navigate complex project environments.
- Strong risk assessment, problem-solving, organizational, and project governance capabilities.
- Proven coaching and leadership skills combined with a collaborative, inclusive, and customer-focused mindset.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and delivery quality.
- Comfortable working remotely with geographically distributed teams and customers.
