Background & Purpose of the Job
As a Logistics Supervisor Receiving, you will be leading the logistics operations, lead the team, and contribute to the overall efficiency and success of the logistics department, while actively coordinating with other departments such as SHE, QA, UMS, Logistics and Mix across the factory to meet the shift targets IE: Safety, QA, OEE, Volume and Waste as applicable. You will champion Factory Operating system practices as applicable to Logistics. You will uphold Safety & Morale of the employee's as a value in the factory and will ensure compliance to quality always as a priority.
Who You Are & What You'll Do
- Manage all plant and third-party warehouse activities, which include processing, packaging and storage of supplies, materials and equipment.
- Regularly cascading and/or communicating site targets and goals from the leadership team to shift crews on a consistent and accurate basis.
- Oversee receipt, storage, and shipment of materials, and related reporting following established procedures.
- Prepare and coordinate schedules for receiving materials to control the flow of goods and regulate warehouse space.
- Play a significant role in developing maintenance solutions to drive department improvements.
- Proactively put measures in place to prevent loss, and lead RCAs to avoid/mitigate the reoccurrence of issues.
- Coordinate with contractors and supplies on repairs and maintenance of all equipment, lifts, dock doors, etc.
- Assist in delivering required training to ensure that all coworkers have the necessary skills to perform their jobs properly and safely.
- Participate in the development of the annual department budget, and responsible for maintaining the department's budget under control.
- Responsible for Quality and SHE incidents root cause and CAPA pertaining to Materials and Warehouses
- Responsible for executing and verifying food safety and quality processes (allergen management, storage temperature, receiving inspections, hold process)
- Responsible to control records for all receiving processes and maintain SOP's and WI's
- Ensure processes follow FEFO and work with planning to ensure materials are used prior to expiry, partner with QA on extension process (KPI : Expired material waste reduction)
- Protection of employee's health and safety by meeting legislative requirements, providing instruction in regard to safety procedures and ensuring compliance of all regulatory and plant safety rules. Par Etc.

- Manage / Optimize blue collar labor cost
- Reduction in inventory adjustment for NFG (target TBD)
- Logistics budget control and optimization
- Manage the general labors
