Oakville Family Physician with Medcan

Join Medcan as a Family Physician in Oakville, where you will emphasize compassionate, patient-centered care and preventive health strategies. Work primarily during weekdays to foster meaningful patient connections. As a Family Physician at Medcan, your role focuses on delivering excellent primary care to a smaller patient base. The position requires a commitment of at least three weekdays, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. You'll be part of a supportive team, enhancing your clinical skills and engaging with referral partners for effective patient management. Key Responsibilities:

• Dedicate time to compassionate and preventive primary care
• Build strong patient relationships for effective health journeys
• Implement insights from same-day testing in treatment plans
• Craft comprehensive wellness diagnoses and follow-ups
• Participate in in-office learning and innovative medical education

Requirements:

• Registration in good standing with CPSO
• CCFP designation, CCFP (EM), or FRCPC required
• Valid OHIP billing number for patient services
• Experience in wellness or preventive health care preferred
• Commitment to three days per week
