About The Role

We’re looking for a Business Analyst II, Operations and planning, to join our growing team!

What You’ll Do Here

• Obtain requirements from business units using techniques such as interview and work sessions.
• Analyze information obtained from various sources, detail the high-level information and provide users with recommendations to their problems.
• Document requirements obtained from the business community using defined templates.
• Act as an intermediary between IT, users and managers from different hierarchical levels.
• Ensure the link between the business units, the technology teams and the support team.
• Facilitate working sessions with experts from different fields.
• Responsible for improving productivity and reducing risks and high costs through effective analysis.
• Identify the need for change to assess and communicate their impact.
• Document and present the user impacts for deliveries in transactional systems.
• Analyze and explain defects in testing or production within transactional systems.
• Be able to understand the impacts of new development elements or defects on users."

What You Bring To The Table

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience as Business Analyst
• Highly developed analytical skills facilitating problem solving.
• Demonstrated ability to cope with change effectively.
• Have initiative and is autonomous.
• Skills for time and priority management.
• Ability to manage multiple files at the same time.
• Good communication skills (oral and written).
• Knowledge of the Agile Methodology (asset).
• Knowledge of the Auto & Home insurance industry (asset).
• No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
• Bilingualism (French and English) - Requires regular interaction with colleagues across the country.
