Wetaskiwin Aerial Applicators Ltd. DBA X3 Aviation requires 3 commercially licensed helicopter pilots for the 2027 season. We are looking for utility/bush and/or aerial application pilots.Applicants must have or be:a minimum of 500 hours single pilot turbine experience (including a minimum of 50 hours on the Bell 206 and/or AS350)a Bell 206 and/or AS350 type ratingValid commercial helicopter pilot licenseacceptable by our insurer with a 5 year accident-free recordproficient in numeracy, reading, writing and speaking Englishcompetent at task planning, organizing and decision makingbodily able to perform a physically demanding job in a fast-paced environmentCurrent Medical Aviation CertificateAble to work across central and northern Alberta (varying shift work with main base being in Wetaskiwin, AB)a valid driver’s licence (minimum Alberta class 5 or equivalent)a good honest attitude with integrity and ambitionAerial Application:a minimum of 3 years or 500 hours aerial application experience, liquid and/or dryan excellent working knowledge of dynanav/satloc/agnav/tracmap/tabula GPS systems and associated flow control devices or similaran Alberta aerial pesticide applicator licenceUtility/Bush:Demonstrated proficiency performing off airport bush operationsDemonstrated proficiency with external loads and long liningBeneficial assets to have or be:other provincial aerial pesticide applicator licensesforestry and/or silviculture experiencea farming and/or forestry backgroundmixing/loading aerial application ground crew experienceoilfield pipeline, right-of-way or similar survey or aerial application experiencefirefighting, exploration, drill moves, wildlife experienceThermal/Infrared camera and/or LiDar operations experienceAn abbreviated list of required duties is to:fly a rotary wing turbine aircraft safely and efficientlywork with customers to organize logistics, planning and executionwork in a professional manner with all individualsperform daily checks on the aircraft and ground support equipmentkeep work orders, job sheets, logbooks and flight tickets organized and up to datebe available to work when conditions are conducive to aerial application and/or utility/bush workperform elementary maintenancefollow and obey the CARsWages are as follows:Salary wage of $10,000 – $30,000 CAD per monthWages are negotiable based on experienceBonuses based on performance, safety, flight time and productionWorkers Compensation coverage as required by lawContractors are welcomeEmployment Term: – Full Time from January 1, 2027 – December 31, 2027Apply by: December 15, 2026Only successful applicants meeting all requirements will be contacted.We encourage all to apply but know that we are not a time building company or steppingstone.
