The Princeton Lumber Division is seeking casual laborer associates (General Laborers) for part-time weekend work. We want individuals who are committed to safety & have a desire to work in a manufacturing facility while maintaining a positive attitude and good work ethic. The starting pay for this position is $32.07 per hour. There is no guarantee of hours upon hire. This role is not intended to transition to a full-time permanent role. Position Duties:

• Must bring a commitment to safety, a positive attitude, and a desire to perform physical work
• Entry-level labor duties may vary to include (but not limited to) shoveling, sweeping, spark watch, equipment operation, manual handling of lumber and debris, etc.
• Assist the supervisor in maintaining records, report safety issues, concerns or hazard
• May be on call
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• All applicants must have a Grade 12 diploma or equivalent or be a current high school student -attach transcripts to application.
• Ability and willingness to follow all safe work practices and procedures and wear all required PPE as necessary.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving and communication skills
• Well-developed planning and organization abilities
• Physical ability to work in extreme heat and cold
• Must be team oriented
• A willingness to work alternate shift schedules and varying hours
• Able to work independently as required.

Offers of employment will be conditional upon satisfactory completion of substance testing, background check, fitness for work testing, and agreement with general terms of employment.
