Lead cybersecurity incident investigations using analytical expertise, threat intelligence, and enterprise security technologies in Sunoco’s five-day, in-office environment. Help reduce risk through decisive response and practical recommendations.As Senior Security Specialist, you will investigate cybersecurity incidents and recommend actions that prevent recurrence. The position supports security operations, incident response, vulnerability management, and cyber risk assessments. You will work with technical teams, business stakeholders, and partners while applying threat detection methodologies and security standards.Key Responsibilities:
Analyze events, alerts, logs, and intelligence for indicators of compromiseLead incident response through containment, recovery, and root-cause analysisInvestigate incidents and deliver timely risk-reduction recommendationsResearch emerging threats, attack techniques, and security technologiesImprove playbooks, procedures, standards, and operational documentationRequirements:
Three to five years in incident response or information securityExperience investigating and responding to enterprise cybersecurity incidentsFamiliarity with threat intelligence and detection methodologiesHands-on experience with SIEM, EDR/XDR, and monitoring toolsStrong investigative, troubleshooting, and communication skillsApply incident response, threat analysis, security technology, and investigative skills to strengthen Sunoco’s cyber defenses and resilience.
