This role is crafted for professionals with over five years of experience in freight and cargo claims, OS&D, or logistics. You will oversee the full freight claims process, engage in liability investigations, and collaborate with terminals and teams. Your ability to analyze claims activity and implement improvements will be crucial in minimizing recurring discrepancies. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end freight claims and OS&D processes
- Investigate claims liability and coordinate resolutions
- Collaborate with terminals, customers, and carriers
- Track claims activity and identify resolution trends
- Ensure compliance with company and transportation policies
- Minimum 5 years in freight claims or OS&D
- Proficient in freight documentation and claims procedures
- Strong investigative skills in damaged or missing freight
- Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with LTL carriers or 3PL preferred
