Looking for private Part time caregiver for late stage dementia patient
Part-time
I am looking for a compassionate, experienced caregiver to help care for my 73-year-old mother, who lives with me and my father and is in the end stage of Lewy body dementia. This is a part-time, live-out senior care position with a preferred start date of 01.10.2026. The schedule needed is Wednesday through Saturday from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, for approximately 20–30 hours per week. The ideal caregiver should have strong experience in dementia and hospice-related care, and be comfortable supporting someone with complex needs. Experience with Parkinson’s, incontinence care, arthritis, and pneumonia is also important. Responsibilities include:
- Oxygen administration
- Bathing assistance and bed baths
- Dressing and grooming assistance
- Toileting assistance
- Range of motion exercises
- Lifts, transfers, and patient positioning
- Alzheimer’s/dementia care
- Palliative care
- Meal planning and preparation
- Housekeeping, laundry, and bathroom cleaning
