Senior Process Engineer at Deep Sky

Join Deep Sky as a Senior Process Engineer, focusing on hands-on design and technology integration for carbon capture projects. This hybrid role emphasizes facility optimization and technical excellence across Canada. Deep Sky is searching for a skilled Senior Process Engineer to lead process design for our Direct Air Capture (DAC) initiatives. You will ensure technical integrity from conceptual stages to commercial deployment while influencing technology selection and energy integration. This role allows for remote work in Canada with occasional site visits. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead conceptual and detailed process design and flow diagrams
• Develop P&IDs and ensure compliance with safety standards
• Perform advanced simulations to optimize energy consumption
• Drive technology selection for key system components
• Assess and mitigate risks in carbon capture efficiency

Requirements:

• Over 10 years of engineering experience in process design
• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Chemical Engineering
• Professional Engineer designation in Canada
• Expert in process simulation tools like Aspen Plus
• Strong command of the English language
