Part-Time Nanny & Housekeeper (After School Care)

We are seeking a dependable and trustworthy part-time nanny/housekeeper to join us starting in September. The primary responsibility is providing after-school care for our two elementary school-aged boys by meeting them when they get off the bus each weekday and staying with them until we return from work. Our ideal candidate is energetic, caring, and enjoys keeping children active and engaged. Duties include meeting children at the bus stop, preparing a healthy after-school snack, helping the boys unpack, do chores and get organized for the next school day, supervising indoor and outdoor play, and creating a safe, positive environment after school. To increase the number of weekly hours, we are also looking for someone who can assist with light housekeeping. Priority household tasks include children's laundry, meal and supper preparation, loading and unloading the dishwasher, cleaning the kitchen, and general tidying. A valid driver's licence is required, as occasional school pick-up may be needed if the bus is unavailable or schedules change. While the regular schedule is approximately 20 hours per week, there may be opportunities for additional optional hours through occasional evening babysitting or morning school routines, bringing the total closer to 30 hours per week. The starting hourly wage will be based on experience ($19–21/hour), with regular increases recognizing strong performance and continued growth. Strong English communication skills are essential.
