Responsibilities:

·         Mix and bake ingredients to produce cakes, cookies, muffins, pastries and other baked goods

·         Measuring and mixing ingredients into dough according to recipes

·         Producing all bakery items in a consistent, precise and efficient manner

·         Full knowledge of hygiene and safety standards in the kitchen

·         Provide support to the whole bakery team, demonstrate team work and foster good working relationships

·         Supports a clean and organized environment through regular clean up

·         Must be familiar with the use of commercial mixing machines, ovens, and other large-scale baking equipment

To Be Successful in this Role:

·         1~2 years’ experience

·         Completion of secondary school

·         Physically capable of lifting and carrying heavy items, standing for long periods of time, repetitive hand motions, mixing, rolling, etc.

·         Attention to detail

·         Must be familiar with, and comply with, all health and safety standards

·         Be a self-starter and have excellent work ethic

·         Have enough technical knowledge of baking equipment to keep it in good working order

·         Good interpersonal skills and team player

Working Conditions:

·         Be able to work early morning shifts and weekend

·         Standing for extended periods and lifting heavy items (up to 50 lbs)

Position Type:

Permanent, Full-Time – 30~44 hours/week

Wage – $17.80~$25.00 per hour, to be negotiated
