Expert Backend Engineer For Ai Systems Montreal

Join Unity as an Expert Backend Engineer focused on AI-driven solutions. This role involves developing backend systems that support billions of decisions for gaming experiences.
We're seeking a talented engineer with over 5 years of experience in designing and operating distributed systems. You'll lead the technical direction of our ad tech inference platform while ensuring high performance and reliability. This position requires proficiency with Golang, GCP, and monitoring tools such as Grafana.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop high-performance backend services for online model inference
- Direct the design of scalable, low-latency systems
- Work closely with ML engineers to optimize serving
- Use monitoring tools to maintain system efficiency
- Oversee cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes workloads
Requirements
- At least 5 years working with distributed systems
- Robust expertise in Golang programming
- Familiarity with GCP and Kubernetes
- Solid understanding of observability tools
- Experience with ad tech or personalization systems
