If you excel at leading Phase I and Phase II ESAs, mentoring the next generation of scientists, and bringing technical rigor to every report, this role is your next career step.

You’ll sit at the intersection of science, regulation, and client service, leading complex site investigations across Alberta while helping the next generation of environmental professionals grow on our team.

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Environmental Site Professional to join our growing team in Alberta. This role is ideal for an intermediate to senior‑level professional with a strong background in contaminated sites, hydrogeology, or environmental engineering/science, and a passion for technical excellence and mentorship.

  • Support and mentor junior and intermediate staff.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, regulators, and internal stakeholders.

  • Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in environmental consulting.
  • Professional designation: P.Eng., P.Geo., or P.Ag., or eligibility for immediate registration.
  • Strong working knowledge of Alberta regulatory frameworks, including Tier I and Tier II guidelines.
  • Interest or experience in business development with established client relationships in industry.
  • Strong leadership capabilities with the ability and desire to mentor junior professionals.
  • Proven senior review capability with a high level of attention to detail.

Assets

  • Experience with MODFLOW and/or contaminant fate and transport modelling.
  • Background in remediation and complex site management.
  • Experience with physical hydrogeology (e.g., aquifer testing).
  • Interest or experience in business development and client relationship management.

Who Will Thrive In This Role

  • Strong technical expertise in contaminated sites and hydrogeology.
  • Navigate Alberta's regulatory framework (Tier I/II) with confidence.
  • Deliver senior-level review with a high degree of attention to detail.
  • Approach the work with a mentorship mindset and team-oriented attitude.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively, both in writing and verbally.
  • Manage multiple priorities delivering high quality work.
