Weyerhaeuser's (Engineered Lumber Products) Timberstrand® manufacturing Plant located in Kenora, Ontario has an immediate opening for a permanent Electrical and Instrumentation Supervisor. The plant manufactures the high‑strength engineered wood product Timberstrand® in 24/7 operations in a non‑union manufacturing workplace. The Electrical and Instrumentation Supervisor is actively engaged in planning and leads the daily activities of a team of Electricians, Process Control Technicians and contractors in the areas of safety, quality and maintenance of all equipment and buildings to meet departmental and plant objectives. This is a salaried, exempt position reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent. Responsibilities

Ensure the safety of all associates and contractors by identifying safety issues and proactively addressing concerns. Lead and develop the Electrical team to ensure effective communication across and between shifts and with production teams. Participate in the planning and scheduling of Electrical work to minimize impact on production. Use reliable troubleshooting methods to ensure uptime, production volume and quality goals are achieved. Effectively use training resources to maximize team technical skills. Use computer‑based programs to support effective prioritization of maintenance requests, manage maintenance inventory, and assign maintenance resources. Resolve associate and contractor issues, build teamwork, and ensure adherence to all applicable site policies and procedures in a fair and consistent manner. Qualifications

Minimum 3 years’ experience in a supervisory role in an industrial environment. Excellent interpersonal, written, verbal and electronic communication skills. Trades certification or post‑secondary diploma in technology or engineering required; a combination of suitable education and experience will also be considered. Proven analytical troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills. Experience in a leadership role and using CMMS (SAP) preferred. Experience with process control (PLC) is an advantage. Solid computer skills in Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Project. Demonstrated ability to raise performance by building and maintaining positive relationships with all associates through coaching and development. Compensation

This role is eligible for an annual merit‑increase program, with a salary range of $95,560 – $139,470 based on level of skills, qualifications and experience. The employee is also eligible for an Annual Incentive Program that offers a cash bonus targeting 10% of base pay; potential plan funding may range from zero to two times that target. Benefits
