We’re a Waterloo family seeking a caring, reliable part-time nanny for our daughter (nearly 2). She’s bright, verbal, and easygoing — happiest exploring, being read to, and out in the world. Schedule: [4 days/week, e.g. Mon–Thu, 9am–1pm], some flexibility appreciated. The role:

• Engaged, responsive play, reading, and conversation — following her interests
• Supporting independent play too: warmly present while letting her lead, not directing every moment
• Outings (parks, walks, library), serving prepared meals, nap, and gentle consistency with her potty routine (she’s toilet-training and doing well)
• Light tidying related to her care

You are: warm, patient, reliable, experienced with toddlers; you respect a child’s autonomy — offering choices and reasons, staying calm and kind. Non-smoker, open to references and a background check. Bonus: additional languages (multilingual household), ECE training, or first-aid/CPR.
