Associate Lawyer

Meridia Recruitment is proud to Partner with O’Keefe & Sullivan in search of an Associate Lawyer to be based in St. John’s, NL. The Associate will handle a variety of legal tasks including managing client cases, drafting legal documents, conducting legal research, and participating in negotiations and dispute resolution. The role will also involve providing strategic legal advice, preparing cases for court, and representing clients in legal proceedings as needed.
Qualifications:
- Strong legal research and analytical skills applicable to resolving complex cases.
- Expertise in insolvency, restructuring, and business law.
- Proficiency in drafting legal documents and agreements.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple cases effectively.
- Licensed to practice law in Newfoundland and Labrador or eligible for licensure.
- Experience in litigation or client dispute resolution is a plus.
