PURPOSE OF POSITION:

As a Junior Business Intelligence Developer, you will play a crucial role in supporting our organization's data-driven decision-making processes. Working closely with our Data & Analytics team, your primary responsibility will be to develop, implement, and maintain business intelligence solutions that enable efficient analysis and reporting of key metrics and insights.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS:

• Collaborate with BI developers to design and develop scalable Business Intelligence solutions using Power BI, Cognos, or similar platforms.
• Perform and assist in data modeling, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, and data warehouse development to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity.
• Participate in gathering business requirements and translating them into technical specifications for BI solutions.
• Develop and optimize dashboards, reports, and interactive visualizations to provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
• Support ongoing maintenance and troubleshooting of BI systems, ensuring smooth functioning and minimal disruptions.
• Stay updated on emerging trends and best practices in business intelligence, analytics, and data visualization techniques.

QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline
• 1-3 years of professional experience in business intelligence, data modeling and business analysis.
• Proven experience in Power BI and SQL
• Strong understanding of relational databases and SQL query writing.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, etc.) is desirable.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
