The Role
STRIVE is currently hiring Production Worker / Heavy General Labourers for a leading manufacturing facility in Paris, ON. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy physically active work and want to build a long-term career in manufacturing. You will be responsible for supporting production operations through material handling, machine loading, quality inspection, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment. This role is ideal for candidates who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are comfortable performing repetitive lifting throughout their shift in Paris ON. The position starts on a straight afternoon shift (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM). Beginning in September, the operation will transition to 12-hour continental shifts, providing employees with more days off while maintaining full-time hours.

Responsibilities
- Perform heavy material handling, lifting and moving products weighing up to 50 lbs throughout the shift
- Offloading finished products from production lines and prepare them for shipping department
- Perform quality inspections to ensure products meet company standards
- Monitor equipment during operation and report any mechanical or quality concerns
- Safely clear minor production jams while following lockout/tagout procedures
- Read production schedules and follow work instructions accurately
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements
- Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet daily production targets
Requirements
- Previous manufacturing, warehouse, production, or general labour experience is considered an asset
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs on a consistent basis throughout the shift
- Comfortable standing, bending, twisting, lifting, walking, and performing repetitive physical work
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Good verbal and written English communication skills
- Basic math and problem-solving skills
- Reliable transportation to Paris, ON
- Clear criminal background check
- High level of reliability, attendance, and work ethic
- Willingness to work afternoon shifts with a transition to continental shifts in September
