Electronic Arts Software Engineer Role (Vancouver)

Reporting directly to the Sr. Engineering Director, this role requires an individual with extensive experience and leadership capabilities in software engineering. You will work closely with product managers and collaborate with a dynamic team to implement cutting-edge solutions and reduce technical debt.
Key Responsibilities Design and architect major components of our backend service
Build server-side systems supporting new functionality
Address legacy systems technical debt through automation
Engage with stakeholders to decipher customer priorities
Allocate significant time to hands-on coding tasks
Requirements 9+ years of experience in software development
Expertise in Java, Golang, and Kafka technologies
Proficient with AWS, Azure, and Docker
Strong knowledge of Agile and Continuous Delivery
Leadership experience in software projects
