Job Overview:We are seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist our dental professionals in providing quality care to our patients. We have a modern, progressive & fully digital practice in beautiful Nelson, BC. Ideal candidate is dedicated, organized, good at multi-tasking, and a team player. Office has CBCT, IO scanner doing full range of general dentistry and implant surgeries.Duties:- Assist dentists during procedures-Will work independently under dentist direction providing preventative oral care for kids and adults- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations and manage patient flow- Take dental x-rays- Sterilize instruments and equipment- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices- Maintain accurate patient recordsRequirements:-Licensed as a CDA in BC-Familiarity with Carestream dental software is a plus- Ability to perform dental receptionist duties when needed is a benefitJoining our amazing team as a Dental Assistant offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment where your skills will be valued.
