Shipping/Receiving 1

Shift: 8-hour, possible 12/hour rotating shifts when covering production

Hourly Pay : starting at $25.88 /hr.

Job Summary

Working from verbal, written, or computer-generated instructions and according to established operating procedures. Performs the following essential functions:

• Operate forklift to move materials as required.
• Completes safety audits/inspections & CIP elements
• Loads and unloads all materials essential for shipping/ receiving.
• Replace online production when scheduled and needed
• Shuttle product
• Material stacking
• Handle offline materials
• Dump trash hoppers
• Must be willing to assist others when needs arise and, in another department, (production & QC)
• Inspect mobile equipment and complete the appropriate checklist(s).
• Understand use of fall protection
• Assist warehouse crews as needed.
• Following JSA's, use safe work practices, and always reports hazardous conditions. Wear protective clothing & equipment as required.
• Follow all Johns Manville safety procedures and policies.
• Maintains housekeeping standards.
• Bring in Go Board skids in Dome when required
• Must be able to use iPad fluently

Minimum Requirements

• Forklift certified
• This position requires the candidate to get on and off forklift several times during his/her shift
• Must be able to tolerate heat, have good vision, hearing, speaking, and finger dexterity skills are required, as well as being able to lift 50 lbs.
• Must have the ability to operate heavy equipment.
• The ability to set up and follow simple work plans and communicate with co-workers is essential.
• Basic computer skills are necessary.
• Employees must pass forklift, and all plant related safety program tests.

Work Devices, Tools, and Equipment

Forklift and attachments, propane tanks and small hand tools.
