The OUAC is seeking to fill the position of Reception / Office Coordinator to provide reception coverage while supporting Human Resources administration and general office operations.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the Human Resources department supporting processes and employee initiatives.
- Support office coordination and administrative activities to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Oversee reception operations and provide administrative support.
Qualifications Sought
- Minimum 3 years of progressive work experience supporting reception, office operations, and/or HR administrative functions.
Abilities/Skills For The Ideal Candidate
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office suite with the ability to learn and utilize additional systems.
- Ability to absorb and retain large amounts of information.
- Effective listening and speaking skills; diplomacy, tact, patience and professionalism while maintaining confidentiality.
- Ability to explain complex processes and procedures in a clear, concise and consistent manner.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and within a team.
- First Aid certification and/or Ergonomic Assessment training is considered an asset.
Hours Of Work
- Monday through Friday, 4.5 days per week (32 hours).
- Hybrid remote work arrangements are not available for this position.
