Job Responsibility:
Looking for skilled and motivated person to join the team at 3567 portage rd NORCINI & CO. BUTCHERY & DELI. This person will be responsible for making sandwiches and serving the meat and deli case. Must be able to learn and portion steaks, make and prep sandwiches and other kitchen jobs. Needs to be urgent when working, do things efficiently yet properly.

Beniamino Meats is seeking a dedicated Deli Associate to join our team at a new full butchery and deli in the vibrant north end of Niagara Falls. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting in the daily operations of the deli, ensuring top-notch customer service, and upholding food safety standards.
```Responsibilities```
- Assist in the preparation and serving of deli products according to established recipes and customer preferences- Handle food products with care, following proper food handling and safety procedures- Operate Point of Sale (POS) systems efficiently for transactions- Maintain a clean and organized deli area, including stocking and rotating products- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and fulfilling customer requests promptly- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth deli operations and timely service- Uphold high standards of food quality, presentation, and freshness- Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines
```Requirements```
- Previous experience in food service or a similar role is preferred- Knowledge of basic math for handling cash transactions and inventory management- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and equipment commonly used in a deli setting- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team- Understanding of food safety practices and willingness to maintain cleanliness standards
