Senior Analyst, Actuarial (Montreal)

About the role

We’re currently seeking Senior Actuarial Analysts to join our growing teams.

What you'll do here

• Resolve complex problems and share actuarial knowledge with colleagues.
• Work autonomously on challenging, strategic projects in areas such as ratemaking, reinsurance, corporate planning, data science, reserving, and more.
• Drive change by improving work processes and delivering substantial observations, conclusions, and recommendations.
• Guide and prioritize the team’s work, coaching effectively to strengthen both individual and group success.
• Share conclusions of your analysis with appropriate stakeholders and make recommendations within established timelines.

What you bring to the table

• University degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Certifications in Mathematics or Actuarial (ACAS preferred).
• 3 years or more of actuarial experience, preferably in the P&C or insurance sector.
• Strong knowledge of Python, VBA, R, or SAS.
• Desirable competencies: adaptability, innovation, analytical thinking, decision making, critical thinking, stellar communication, planning and organizing, team orientation.
• For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism (English and French) is required due to regular interaction with English‑speaking colleagues across the country.
• Eligibility to work in Canada from the start date throughout employment; no Canadian work experience required.

Salary and Benefits

Salary range (based on a 35‑hour workweek): 87,200–106,600. Annual bonus target up to 10% of base salary, with potential double payout based on performance. Share plan with up to 12% of salary, including Employee Share Purchase Plan (ESPP) and pension offerings with defined benefit options.
