Senior Consultant in Health Policy Development

Become a Senior Program Consultant with the Ministry of Health, specializing in policy development and program delivery. Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance health services in Ontario. In the Provincial Programs Branch, you will lead significant policy and program initiatives aimed at improving healthcare for Ontarians. Your role will require strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills as you engage with external stakeholders, conduct research, and manage complex contract negotiations. You will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with governance and funding requirements across various healthcare programs. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective health policies
- Manage evaluations and analyze trends in service delivery
- Advise stakeholders on policy alignment and issues
- Prepare comprehensive risk assessments and legislative documents
- Coordinate strategic planning information for management
- Solid experience in program and contract management
- Expertise in health policy analysis and legislation
- Strong interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement
- Proven ability in project management from start to finish
- Knowledge of risk evaluation in healthcare policy
