Voulenteer Treasuer

Seniors Serving Seniors is a registered non-profit charitable society in British Columbia that supports the well-being of seniors. We are the premier organization in connecting the information needs of seniors with relevant resources and programs. You will be joining a fabulous culture and regular training and community events.

The treasurer is responsible for doing, or making the necessary arrangements for, the following financial oversight:

a) Monitor the organization’s financial health, including reviewing financial statements, budgets, and cash flow to ensure fiscal responsibility and

sustainability.

b) Prepare, or oversee the preparation of, the Society’s financial statements to support internal decision-making and fulfill external reporting obligations

c) Keeping accounting records in respect of the Society’s financial transactions.

d) Making or delegating the Society’s filings respecting taxes
