Nanny Wanted - Experienced Nanny + Housekeeper Needed In Toronto, Ontario $19/Hour

We are a family in Toronto looking for a reliable, organized and proactive part-time Nanny / Housekeeper & Family Assistant to help care for our school-aged children and keep our home running smoothly. This is a live-out, long-term position, approximately 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM. We are looking for someone who takes ownership of their responsibilities and notices what needs to be done without needing a daily task list. Responsibilities 1. Childcare Attentive after-school care for our 2 girls, ages 5 and 7 Prepare snacks and help with their after-school routine Help keep the children organized Supervise homework, play and activities as needed Assist with school pickup and activities if required 2. Housekeeping General household cleaning and tidying Vacuuming and floor care Cleaning kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms and common areas Laundry, folding and putting clothes away Making beds and changing linens Keeping bedrooms and common areas neat and organized Taking out garbage and recycling Keeping the home clean and well maintained 3. Dinner Preparation Prepare ingredients for the family's evening meals using recipes we provide Wash and chop vegetables Prepare salads and side dishes Marinate chicken, fish and other proteins Portion and organize ingredients Leave meals ready to cook, bake or reheat Clean the kitchen and preparation area afterward 4. Household Management Proactively identify household issues that need attention Arrange and schedule service professionals such as plumbers, electricians, handymen and other contractors Coordinate appointments and be available to receive service professionals when necessary Help keep household supplies stocked Handle occasional household errands as needed What We're Looking For Previous nanny, housekeeping or household management experience Excellent references Reliable, trustworthy and punctual Strong attention to detail Comfortable working independently Naturally organized and proactive Good communication skills Experienced caring for school-aged kids Able to manage multiple household responsibilities without constant supervision The ideal person will see themselves as someone who helps run the household, not simply someone who waits to be given individual tasks.
