Lead GitHub Operations at Jane

Jane

Shape the developer experience at Jane as the accountable owner of GitHub. Drive operational and security standards while automating compliance and enhancing collaboration in this remote-first role. As a key player in our Developer Operations team, you'll manage GitHub for 900+ repositories and 300+ developers. This position is perfect for a senior developer with expertise in configuration, automation, and security. Your work will directly impact developer workflows and make the tools they rely on genuinely delightful to use. Key Responsibilities:

Own the operational and security baseline for GitHub
Collaborate on creating user-friendly pathways for teams
Automate compliance with configuration drift detection
Lead change management across teams for improved workflows
Extend successful practices to other tools in our SDLC

Requirements:

Hands-on experience in managing developer tools
Proficiency in configuration as code with Terraform
Strong security-first mindset and experience
Autonomy in defining operational standards
Familiarity with AI coding tools for automation
