Front Desk Sales Associate

Job Responsibility:

As a Front Desk Administrator / Receptionist, you will be responsible for managing the daily sales operations at your assigned station, performing daily closings with accurate balancing, and supporting general administrative tasks. You will also help monitor inventory levels and contribute to the smooth operation of the store.

Key Responsibilities:

• Warmly greet customers and assist them in finding products that meet their needs
• Provide clear explanations of product features, benefits, and ongoing promotions
• Accurately generate Sales Orders and ensure all required information is complete and correct
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk and work area in accordance with store standards
• Process Sales Orders using QuickBooks or Oracle systems
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay informed on sales techniques and product knowledge
• Work proactively to meet or exceed assigned sales targets and contribute to team goals
• Comply with all company policies and procedures to ensure effective sales performance
• Foster a positive team environment by cooperating and collaborating with fellow staff members
• Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management

Qualifications:

• Basic knowledge of sales principles and customer service best practices
• Understanding of customer and market behavior and expectations
• Strong organizational and merchandising skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English in a professional environment
• Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining a customer-focused attitude
• Self-motivated and capable of working both independently and within a team
• Flexible availability including mornings, evenings, weekends, and occasional overnight shifts

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with building materials such as roofing or landscaping products is a strong asset
• Proficiency in a second language such as Cantonese or Mandarin is considered an asset

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.20-$22.00 per hour
