Located in the beautiful West Kootenay region of southeastern, British Columbia, Trail offers outdoor adventure at your fingertips.Role OverviewTeck is looking for an experienced Electrician Journeyperson to join our team at our Trail Operations, one of the world's largest fully integrated zinc and lead smelting and refining complexes.Please note this role does require the successful candidate to live within 100KM of Trail. British, Columbia. Relocation assistance may be offered however there is no camp or company housing.Key ResponsibilitiesBe a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and proceduresMaintenance and troubleshooting on industrial electrical systemsOther duties as assignedQualificationsInter-Provincial Red Seal Endorsement (Electrician)Preference given to those with related industrial maintenance experience and knowledge of computerized maintenance management systemsMust have professional, diligent approach; be comfortable working independently and with a team; and be able to demonstrate the ability to complete tasks in a timely manner, with great attention to detailStrong interpersonal, oral and written communication skillsValid class 5 driver’s licenseBenefitsTeck employees receive access to our total rewards program and comprehensive benefits package that promote physical, mental, financial, and emotional well-being.
