Pharmacy Assistant

Mel's Pharmacy is seeking a Part-Time Pharmacy Assistant to join our team in Craik, Saskatchewan.

Key Responsibilities
-Support pharmacists and pharmacy technicians in delivering quality patient care
-Greet customers and answer phone calls professionally
-Assist with prescription entry, labelling, packaging, and medication preparation under supervision
-Receive and stock medications and supplies, monitor inventory, and assist with audits
-Maintain a clean, organized pharmacy and properly dispose of expired medications
-Perform clerical duties such as filing, scanning, faxing, insurance claims, and prescription transfers
-Assist with daily pharmacy operations as needed

Qualifications
-Previous retail pharmacy experience is an asset
-Experience with Kroll and prescription data entry is an asset
-Pharmacy Assistant certification/training is an asset
-Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
-High attention to detail and ability to multitask
-Ability to stand for extended periods and occasionally lift boxes
-Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays when required

Schedule:
-Part-time, 28 hours per week
-Store hours: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
-Shifts are typically scheduled within these hours
