Nanny Wanted - Looking For A Nanny To Help Our Family Thrive In Sherwood Park, Alberta!

Attention caregivers in Sherwood Park, Alberta! Our family is seeking a responsible and caring nanny to join our household and care for our infant son 3 days a week. On Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 8am-4pm. These days are preferred but we are flexible with them for the right candidate! If you need different days of the week we can definitely discuss. This is a live-out, part-time position with the potential for additional hours. We are offering a competitive rate of $16-18/hr depending on experience. We have a two year old son, as well as 3 school aged children which will be away during the day so care is mainly just for the little one! We have two Great Dane dogs, and cats so if you do not like animals or have allergies this will not be a fit! My husband and I are both entrepreneurs and work from home. However we are finding it very challenging to get work done with our toddler. As much as we have enjoyed being home with him these last 19 months, it’s time we found some help! We live on an acreage with horses next door, endless outdoor activities, and both my husband and I work predominately from home. We just need help with our toddler during the day as well as cleaning the home so we can be free to take calls or do meetings. We try to avoid screens as much as possible for our son, and want someone who will love being active with him, teaching him through active play, and engaging him with reading and fun activities. Our son is very active and smart, and he has a very kind and funny demeanour. In addition to childcare responsibilities, light housekeeping duties will be required, including tidying up after the baby and maintaining a clean and organized living space.
