Salary (only if perm): $33–38/hr
Location: Onsite (at the shop and on the road work)
Schedule: 40 hours/week with occasional on-call overtime
Must-Haves:
- Experience as a heavy-duty mechanic or truck and trailer mechanic or similar experience
- Ability to work onsite and handle occasional overtime/on-call work
- Strong attitude and willingness to learn
- Clean driver’s record and criminal record
Plusses:
- No formal training needed (hands-on experience valued)
- Experience with generators
Day-to-Day:
- Perform preventative maintenance, repair, installation, and testing on generator and HVAC equipment
- Test and inspect equipment for performance and safety
- Respond to service calls and troubleshoot issues in the field
- Handle some unpredictable tasks and occasional late work (up to once per week)

This individual will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and testing generator and HVAC equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety for clients. The role involves a mix of shop-based work and field service calls, requiring strong mechanical aptitude and adaptability. The ideal candidate is a hands-on mechanic with experience in heavy-duty equipment, truck, or trailer repair, and brings a positive attitude and willingness to learn new systems.
