Team Lead, Service Billing Project Accountant
Cencora
Team Lead for billing operations supporting Cencora's patient and provider support services in Canada. Reports to Senior Manager and oversees accurate client invoicing, accounts receivable monitoring, and serves as finance liaison for operational program managers.
Responsibilities
- Validate contract interpretation and approve billing setups, templates, and reporting logic
- Oversee daily and monthly invoicing workflow; manage quality concerns and complex calculations
- Monitor aged accounts receivable and coordinate with clients and program management on payment issues
- Act as finance liaison for Innomar operational managers; conduct monthly business reviews and manage escalations
- Identify and implement process improvements for accuracy, automation, and control effectiveness
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting
- Three to five years of progressive billing experience, preferably healthcare
- Experience with multiple IT applications and data-management systems
- Team management capability with strong attention to detail
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office proficiency
- Strong business-partnering and communication skills
