Role
IT Systems Analyst – focused on Pharmacy Retail Systems and IT infrastructure.
Principal Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to identify, design, and develop innovative IT solutions that address the specific needs of pharmacy retail systems.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation for all IT solutions, including system architecture diagrams, technical specifications, and user guides.
- Oversee the smooth transition of new IT solutions into production, including testing and user training.
- Monitor and manage the technology infrastructure supporting pharmacy retail, focusing on performance and security.
- Analyze data to find ways to improve pharmacy operations.
- Work with vendors to select and implement software and hardware solutions.
- Research solutions to investigate complex system issues and provide troubleshooting.
- Ensure data security and compliance with industry regulations.
- Stay updated on industry trends and recommend improvements to enhance system performance.
- Assess new technologies that can be leveraged across the Enterprise Retail environment and develop business case for their use.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- College or University degree in a related discipline or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years of IT Systems Analyst experience, focused on pharmacy retail systems and infrastructure.
- Proficiency in automating tasks using Power Automate, PowerShell, and other scripting languages.
- Experience with System Center Operations Manager, System Center Configuration Manager, and Adaptiva peer‑to‑peer automation technology.
- Familiarity with hardware components, network architecture, and cloud computing.
- Proficiency in Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Azure AD, and cloud technologies.
- Experience with modern operating systems: Windows Server, Windows Desktop, iOS, Android.
- Excellent knowledge of creating and deploying operating systems.
- Result‑oriented with a can‑do attitude, adaptability, flexibility, and resourcefulness.
- Ability to provide recommendations regarding future business and solution opportunities.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet project deadlines.
- Willingness to provide after‑hours support for new solutions during implementation.
- Strong research skills and awareness of data privacy practices.
Context and Environment
Must be able to work in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure, complex technical environment that requires attention to detail. Must be able to complete assigned tasks on time, manage multiple deliverables and projects concurrently. Hybrid workplace model is supported.
