Live-In Nanny

We are a warm, busy family in South Edmonton seeking a reliable, mature, and genuinely engaging long-term nanny for our two boys. Live-in is preferred, although we are open to an exceptional live-out candidate. Our priority is finding someone who truly enjoys children and naturally interacts with them through play, conversation, reading, activities, and everyday routines. We are looking for someone calm, patient, emotionally mature, teachable, and comfortable supporting neurodivergent children, including autism and ADHD. Responsibilities may include morning and school routines, after-school/evening care, active play and activities, preparing meals and snacks, children’s laundry and organization, keeping children’s areas tidy, and reasonable light household assistance. Occasional pre-arranged evening or overnight/respite support may also be needed. Experience with autism, ADHD, developmental differences, respite care, behavioural support, Early Childhood Education, nursing, psychology, or related fields is a strong asset. First Aid/CPR, strong references, and a Criminal Record/Vulnerable Sector Check are preferred. A driver’s licence is an asset. Private accommodation can be provided for the right live-in candidate. Compensation is competitive and negotiable based on experience, qualifications, schedule, and responsibilities. We are looking for someone who can become a stable, trusted, and positive part of our children’s lives, not simply provide basic supervision.
