Cognizant Full Stack Engineer (Java)

Cognizant is hiring a Full Stack Engineer proficient in Java. This hybrid opportunity mandates 4 days per week at our Toronto office while allowing impactful project work. As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will design scalable applications that support modern digital platforms. Your expertise in Java (Spring Boot/Microservices), along with Angular or Node.js, will be key in developing cloud-native solutions and integrating robust RESTful APIs. Collaborate with Agile teams while focusing on CI/CD pipeline efficiency and architecture scalability. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain Java-based full stack applications
- Build and integrate RESTful APIs for smooth operations
- Design system architecture to promote scalability
- Deliver solutions with cloud technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
- Enable CI/CD practices with GitHub Actions
- 7–12 years of experience in full stack roles
- Strong knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, Angular/Node.js
- Proven ability in RESTful API implementation
- Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or OpenShift
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes
