MORNING SHIFT
Position Details:
A custom millwork and cabinetry company is looking for an experienced Cabinetmaker with strong hands-on skills in laminating, filing, cabinet assembly, and hardware installation. The ideal candidate can work independently, read drawings, and build high-quality products with precision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and assemble cabinets, millwork components, and fixtures according to drawings
- Perform laminating, filing, trimming, and finishing tasks
- Install cabinet hardware including hinges, handles, slides, and specialty components
- Interpret shop drawings and measurements accurately
- Operate woodworking tools and machinery safely (saws, routers, drills, sanders)
- Ensure products meet quality and workmanship standards
- Maintain a clean work area and follow all safety procedures
- Assist with general shop tasks as needed
Must-Have Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of Cabinetmaking experience
- Strong skills in laminating, filing, cabinet assembly, and hardware installation
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and measurements
- Experience operating woodworking hand and power tools
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Ability to lift materials and work in a fast-paced production environment
