Sobeys, one of Canada’s largest grocery retailers, is looking for a skilled Machine Learning Engineer. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with the Enterprise Data and Advanced Technology team focusing on Agentic AI solutions. You will construct robust AI systems that automate intricate business tasks and collaborate with a variety of professionals to bolster operational efficiencies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop conversational agents based on agentic frameworks
• Build scalable applications using Lang graph technologies
• Ensure software quality through modular Python code design
• Collaborate closely with Data Scientists and Product Managers
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in related disciplines
• 4+ years of Object-Oriented programming experience
• Expertise in MLOps tools
• Understanding of vector databases and retrieval techniques
• Proven ability to manage stakeholders and multiple tasks
Contribute to Sobeys’ innovative projects and enhance the grocery retail landscape through AI advancements.
