Warehouse Manager ( Afternoon Shift)

Job Responsibility:

As a Warehouse Manager overseeing afternoon shifts, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our warehouse during these hours. You will play a crucial role in managing inventory, supervising staff, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervision and Leadership:
• Lead and supervise warehouse personnel during afternoon shifts.
• Assign tasks and responsibilities to warehouse team members.
• Provide coaching, training, and guidance to improve performance
• Inventory Management:
• Oversee the receiving, storage, and distribution of warehouse goods.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular audits.
• Implement inventory control measures to minimize discrepancies and losses.
• Operational Efficiency:
• Develop and implement operational procedures to optimize efficiency.
• Monitor workflow and address any bottlenecks or issues that arise.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless coordination.
• Safety and Compliance:
• Enforce safety protocols and standards to create a secure work environment.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and address any hazards promptly.
• Communication and Reporting:
• Communicate effectively with warehouse staff, supervisors, and management.
• Generate reports on key performance metrics, such as productivity and inventory levels.
• Provide regular updates on operational activities and initiatives.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Proven experience in warehouse management more than 7 years.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Knowledge of inventory management software and systems.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations.
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Working Hours:

This position involves afternoon shifts, typically starting at the 2 pm and extending into the evening 10:30 pm. Flexibility in working hours may be required based on operational needs.
