Description and RequirementsLenovo is seeking a strategic and customer-focused Portfolio Manager to lead our Manufacturing and Transportation solutions portfolio. This role will define and execute portfolio strategy, drive offering innovation, and lead a team of Product Managers while collaborating across a global, matrixed organization spanning engineering, development, operations, sales, marketing, finance, and project management.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute portfolio strategies, roadmaps, and lifecycle plans for Manufacturing and Transportation solutions.
Curate hardware-led offerings enhanced by software, services, and partner ecosystems.
Define requirements, business cases, investment priorities, and growth strategies.
Create compelling value propositions, competitive positioning, and “Why Lenovo Wins” narratives.
Gather customer and market insights to shape roadmap and portfolio decisions.
Lead customer engagements, executive presentations, industry events, and investment pitches.
Drive cross-functional alignment to successfully launch and scale offerings.
Manage portfolio performance, business metrics, and investment priorities.Lead, coach, and develop a team of Product Managers.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Technology, or a related field.
8+ years of experience in portfolio management, product management, offering management, or related technology leadership roles.
Preferred Qualifications:
MBA or advanced degree.
Industry experience in Manufacturing, Industrial Automation, Industry 4.0, Smart Factory, Logistics, Transportation, or adjacent markets.
Proven ability to develop roadmaps, requirements, business cases, and go-to-market strategies.
Strong leadership, communication, and executive presentation skills.
Ability to work independently and drive results in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
Experience within a technology company delivering hardware-based solutions.
Experience leading Product Managers and influencing matrixed, cross-functional teams.
Knowledge of AI, Edge Computing, Industrial IoT, or Digital Transformation solutions.

PAY TRANSPARENCY
The anticipated annual compensation range for this position is 160,600–246,215
