Financial Analyst - Marketing & Sales

As a Financial Analyst, you will have the opportunity to provide financial expertise to the organization. Each day, you will compile and analyze metrics, identify trends and problems, and communicate information to relevant groups. You will also showcase your expertise by recommending actions to improve financial performance of a specific Marketing and Sales organization.

This role is contributing to the Installation Products division of ABB Electrification and is based in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu.

The work model is hybrid, with 3 days per week on site.

Responsibilities

• Analyzing the business performance versus budget and forecast for specific channel of sales.
• Validating accuracy of financial data and business information and reporting by performing reconciliations and review of exceptions.
• Providing information to the management by assembling and summarizing data, preparing reports, making presentations of findings, analyses, and recommendations.
• Performing accrual and review of Marketing and Sales expenses
• Performing analytic accounting review

Qualifications

• Hold a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, or Management Accounting.
• Have a minimum of three years of experience in a similar position, with strong technical accounting skills.
• Have advanced Excel skills.
• CPA designation is considered an asset.
• Knowledge of SAP is considered an asset.
• Be fluent in both French and English. English is required to communicate with customers outside Quebec.
• Demonstrate strong analytical skills and the ability to work comfortably with large volumes of data.
