Healthcare Program Manager

Job Responsibility:

Job Overview Green PI Inc is presently looking to provide a Healthcare Program Manager to join our team on a pivotal project aimed at enhancing lung cancer diagnostic navigation. This vital role will support our client in refining and developing comprehensive care pathways and resources, aimed at creating a more uniform and efficient diagnostic process. The Program Manager will play a crucial role in improving clinical protocols and standards for lung cancer diagnosis, focusing on elevating care quality, enhancing patient transitions, and streamlining communication and coordination from initial suspicion through to diagnosis and treatment. This position will also contribute to the development of best practices and system planning that can be applied to other cancer types, sharing insights gained from strengths and challenges encountered in the lung cancer navigation program.

This is a contract opportunity from March 24, 2025 - September 30, 2025.

Job Responsibilities:

Primarily provide background research. The main tasks include, but are not limited to:

• Confirm and finalize the key program parameters including:

a) Review goals and objectives of the client's program

b) Capture what is already known regarding the current lung diagnostic workflow related to data collection, sharing and collaboration amongst specialists and departments; and

c) Establish an open and collaborative working relationship between stakeholders and program team.

• Understand the current state of processes.

a) What role does each stakeholder play at each stage of the lung diagnostic journey (identification through to treatment);

b) What are the measures of performance/success;

c) What data is currently collected that can be used to inform the Lung Cancer Diagnostic Navigation Program;

d) How is the current data/information collected and analyzed; and

e) What gaps exist due to process design (lack of), information sharing or system incompatibility.

• Review and understand existing processes for the identification, assessment and diagnosis of lung cancer. This review process will support the outcomes of becoming more patient-centered, support the sharing of data and system collaboration.
• Design and document new coordinated processes for identification, assessment and diagnosis of lung cancer with the support of navigation (human and technology).

Requirements

• A minimum of three (3) years demonstrated experience of process assessment and development, in health care setting preferred;
• Program design;
• Stakeholder engagement;
• Assessment of needs and gaps as identified by multiple stakeholders, including those with lived experiences; and
• Developing program monitoring and evaluation, and;
• Demonstrated understanding of health care services and knowledge of cancer control programs.
