About the Role, Benefits & Perks:
- Full-time, year-round. Based in Squamish, BC
- Schedule: 40 hours/week, Monday to Friday.
- Wage: $55,000 – $75,000 per year based on experience. *negotiable
- RRSP or retirement savings plan, subject to eligibility.

The Perfect Candidate:
- Diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Procurement, or a related field.
- 3–7 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain roles, preferably in manufacturing, rail, transportation, or industrial environments.
- Experience in sourcing steel/metal materials, technical components, fabricated parts, or engineered equipment.
- Ability to interpret basic technical drawings, specifications, and bills of materials.
- Proficiency with ERP, procurement, or inventory management systems.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with multiple stakeholders.
- Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset.
Responsibilities Include:
- Source and procure materials, components, equipment, and services in accordance with project and operational requirements.
- Prepare and issue purchase orders aligned with approved budgets, specifications, and internal procedures.
- Request, analyze, and compare supplier quotations to ensure best value, quality, and lead time.
- Manage supplier relationships and support supplier selection, onboarding, and performance monitoring.
- Track order status and proactively follow up with suppliers to mitigate delays or shortages.
- Resolve procurement issues related to delivery, quality, documentation, or discrepancies.
- Coordinate closely with engineering, project management, and production teams to support evolving requirements.
- Maintain accurate procurement records and ensure compliance with internal controls and quality requirements.
- Support cost tracking, reporting, and continuous improvement of procurement processes.
