Tâches

Préparer les patients pour les examens dentaires
Préparer des modèles de plâtres et de moules
Former d'autres assistants de laboratoire dentaire
Commander les fournitures dentaires et les fournitures de bureau
Préparer les instruments et le mélange nécessaire aux obturations
Tenir à jour l'inventaire des fournitures et en commander
Stériliser et entretenir les instruments et l'équipement
Renseigner le patient au sujet de l'hygiène dentaire
Superviser les étudiants en formation
Polir les dents et les couronnes et appliquer du fluorure et un scellant
Préparer la cire d'occlusion et les porte-empreintes
Fixer et confirmer des rendez-vous
Effectuer des tâches intra-buccales
Prendre et développer les radiographies
Consigner des renseignements sur les soins dispensés aux patients
Polir les prothèses
Fabriquer et insérer des couronnes et des restaurations provisoires
Prendre les impressions préliminaires des moulages diagnostiques
