Front-End Quality Engineer (QE)

We are seeking a highly skilled Front-End Quality Engineer (QE) with strong expertise in Playwright-based UI test automation and software testing. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience testing React web applications, building and maintaining automated testing frameworks using TypeScript/JavaScript, and executing comprehensive functional, regression, and end-to-end testing to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated UI test frameworks using Playwright and TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Create and execute automated and manual test cases for React-based web applications.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing to validate application quality and performance.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and QA team members to understand requirements and ensure adequate test coverage.
• Identify, document, track, and verify defects throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines and support continuous testing practices.
• Analyze test results, troubleshoot failures, and provide actionable recommendations to improve product quality.
• Contribute to the development and enhancement of quality assurance processes, standards, and best practices.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software quality engineering, testing, or test automation.
• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright for UI test automation.
• Experience testing React.js web applications.
• Proficiency in TypeScript and/or JavaScript.
• Experience creating and maintaining scalable automation frameworks.
• Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, test planning, and defect management.
• Experience with end-to-end, regression, smoke, and functional testing.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
• Knowledge of API testing tools and methodologies.
• Experience working in cloud-based environments.
• Exposure to performance and accessibility testing is an asset.
